    Default Spiders

I have always found spiders to be interesting and amazing creatures. They are somehow both ugly and beautiful at the same time, and provide great reference for sci-fi artwork.
I took this picture in my garden this afternoon. This specimen is a bit larger than our normal, being almost an inch in length, from face to spinner.

There goes Mikey showin' off again. I can relate to the one on the guy's nose ... I came face to face with one of those little critters recently ... here is his picture.
