Default Tiny white line in header of Sabre Theme

    Hi,

    I have used the web template Sabre (Theme) and in the grey header bar that goes through the logo, you see a very thin white line in the grey. I do not know how to get rid of this, does anybody have an idea? My website;
www.toporange.com, site is not finished yet
The same problem I have in the orange header, see
    http://www.toporange.com/Refs/R504.html in the subhead.

    Thanks

I've used the Sabre Theme before and never come across your problem, BUT, a closer look at your graphics indicate that you will need to 'edit' the "TopOrange_logo.gif" graphic to make the coloured bar go to the R/H edge of the gif.

If you take a look at this pic your will see WHY it is displaying the way it does:

The bar under the letters "ange" in the logo is the one the script throws up. Extending the bar in your graphic will cover it.

    Hope this was of help.

    Hi,

The problem is that the grey line is filled up by Xare.
When I look in the logo gif file the grey beam stops under ANGE, the background is transparent. The word TopOrange is probably too long?
I will play around with it!

    Thanks anyway!

I took your original and played around with it a bit. The first image shows 'pink' where the 'gif' is transparent. The second is the 'gif' with its transparent background. If you think you can make use of it, then copy/pasting the second should give you a starting point. BTW, I removed most of the jaggies in the G where it sits over the grey bar . . .

    Hello,

    You are a star!!

I have used your edited logo and it looks 10 times better!

I'm not such a graphic designer myself, you see.

    Thanks a lot!

Glad to have been of help.

I think your problem with the 'fine' white lines in the orange sub-heading will have to be attacked within the script. Perhaps you should add a CSS class (you could call it ".subheading_bg") to your style sheet and give it #EE7307 as the background colour. That might get rid of the fine white lines. Worth a try, huh?

Cracked it. The gif for 'Onevillapool_subheading' had the faintest of 1px light orange lines down each side of the gif. I've removed them and it now displays without the faint 'white' line you complained about. You can copy/paste this one or remove the lines yourself. That should now bring your display up to your expectations.
