    Webstyle does not start anymore

    Hello,

I have been working very well with webstyle, till today! All of sudden it does not start up anymore. The first Start screen comes up and then it closes down. I have seen a similar Thread in this forum and I have tried the suggestions; but it still does not work. I'm working with Win XP, have no spyware software or anything like that. Does anyone have any idea?? I'm in the middle of making a big website and I'm really stuck now!!

    Thanks

This has happened to me too, applied all the usual problem solving techniques, still no go, any feedback re getting Webstyle 4 to locate the registry in order to activate would be very much appreciated,

Same thinh happened to me today. The only change to my system was an update to Windows XP using the automatic updates. Now Webstyle 4 had to be unlocked again, and after doing so it opens but none of the buttons work (test, colors, background, save). very strange, no other programs on my PC are having any issues. Please let me know if you found a solution.

    Hi,

I have reinstalled Webstyle, which seem to have solved the problem.
    This is what the WS support group replied;

HI please navigate to the wstemplates folder within the webstyle
4installation folder. Move any folders that contain (project) within
their name from this location to any other location external to the
wstemplates folder. Start Webstyle. Does the crash occur? if not,
then close the program and move a project folder back. Start the
program and see if it crashes. repeat this until you identify yhe
problem project folder and then add it to a zip file and include it in
    your reply
    CS

    Maybe you can try this

    Hi,
Reading your troubles isn't making me happy as i too have the same problems and i too don't have a solution for it unfortunately.
The thing i figured out is the SP2 update of XP as this was maybe a bit too much for Webstyle.
I had some short luck when i tried to de activate my spysweeper software, but later it again didn't work anymore.

I just entered this message to let you know your'e not alone in this one.

Hope to read a solution for it soon as i'm really stuck.

Have been trying other menumaker software, but it isn't as easy to use as Webstyle does.
    So any clues anybody?

Just upgraded from Windows 2000 Pro to Windows XP Pro and now my buttons in Webstyle are all non operational except for the start and projects button. I can select all my different items in all the projects but can not edit a thing.

If I try to create a new nav menu, the buttons will not light.

    Tried reinstalling Webstyle. No change.

    Have an email into support.

May have to roll back to Windows 2000. This is very frustrating...

    Any suggestions?

I have hundreds of files in Webstyle.
