...boys, here I have a serious problem with Xara.
I am not able to export my gif animation
No real "Tinker Bell Dust" to offer here. Go back a small way and delete a few frames and then try saving it with a different name. If that does not work delete a few more frames and try again and keep trying until the problem goes.
Design is thinking made visual.
Excuse me, but what do you mean with this?? We are in a Xara forum and I think that somebody, perhaps, can help me...Originally Posted by Albacore

...idem...I have same problem...
I believe that I must create again my job...
Well Spyro,
I may have misunderstood your last post..it sounds that you are annoyed at the people in the forum. But unless people have access to the files your are trying to export, and the Computer setup information it could be a number of reasons, I had similar problems a wile back (altho' not with animation) but I believe it was a recent windows update that was the culprit and things corrected themselves. I am running a AMD 64 bit processor, with 1 GB memory, 256MB gaphics memory and WindowsXP Home.
The point I am trying to make is try and get the file submited to the forum so the experts can try and duplicate using your file and see what happens.

Hi Spyro,
I have no idea what that access violation code means, but if you post a copy of your problem file here I will gladly see if I can duplicate the problem, or... help you find the error if there is something you goofed up. Shy of having the file, I can not do a thing... If you have to rebuild it anyway, there would be no loss etc... etc...
...absolutely no! I am not annoyed! I asked only help!...it sounds that you are annoyed at the people in the forum
Excuse me if I have given this wrong idea, but don't "play" very well with english

...ok John. I have insert my xara file. Tell me! Thanks
Exporting the GIF as you have left it crashes my Xara too. I've not got time to try and work out why, but you should check Frame 5, it has elements way off the page which make any GIF output over 1000 pixels tall.
After deleting Frame 5 I was able to preview the animation without any trouble, but the export takes a long time - I'd be tempted to resample the imported bitmaps to their outputted sizes perhaps. It's a massive animation though, it needs some serious optimising at 80KB!
