Yes you are right as you can see in my previous post I already ran into some problems with Duplicate and Clone words, and I have not even got to Feather or Apply clip view, but i still think it can be done.
I'll just give it a try and show the result here on the forum to hear what people think and because you and some other people ive seen here are Dutch I think we could solve the word problem as well.

Also consider going through other software that have Dutch versions.
Inkscape e.g. has almost exactly the same tools as X1 and is also availabe in Dutch (but I dunno if this is considered copyright infringement or anything)
Though I must admit when I saw the Dutch terms used in Inkscape, they sounded kinda funny and "copied"

The wireframe looks more like the cube has over-sized faces which are heavily feathered to come into line to make a cube, with a hard-edged shape on top on the 'nearest' corner to me, both work though

Some thought regarding different language versions:

Just imagine you have a localized Spanish version and come to the forum to post a question or discuss some points.

The poor guys will be desperate to find a real good translation for many expressions of the menu or commands.

In most cases you won't be able to find those special expressions in a dictionary. Now what? Ah, an Internet translation tool. OK, here we go:

English: linear gradient fill
Spanish: el declive lineal llena (Oooops!)

English: Paper size (actually meaning page size)
Spanish: tamaño de la pagina (not really)
German: Papierformat (huh?) Arbeitsfläche (huh?) Papiergrösse (häh?) Seitenformat (hm) Seitengrösse (grrr)

As far as I know from my father, there are many more choices in Russian.

And my 2 cents about translation

There are several problems:

1) Xara (as I understand) can't handle arabic fonts and inverse typing.
2) Translated strings could be shorter or longer and could not fit in dialog window,
. so, some dialog windows should be tuned.
3) Xara X stores all strings as DLL resources, so they are available for editing.
. (I made DLL with patial Russian translation for Xara X, but only from curiosity)
. Unfortunatelly, the structure of these resource is very muddled. Some entries are obsolete.
. This structure WAS NOT intended for translation.
. Xara Inc should make some work for adaptation, but they have no time and human resources for this.
4) The good translation should have translated HELP.
. a) Xara help is huge.
. b) It has definitively too much crossreferences.
. c) And it could be bored to translate tons of obvious things.

So, translation could be done by one person, BUT, it is not so simple trick.

LogoVend give us probably the shortes way, but my goal was completely vector image.

To avoid typing much, you can play with SPLASH SCREEN in attached file.
Saved it in XX, not XX1.

Will there be a Xara forum in Hebrew, Dutch, Kisuaheli, German as well? Who is going to run and moderate it, supply the servers etc?

My suggestion: let's run this forum in Hokkien, that's a real nice language. Anybody around to translate it?

You are absolutely right.

The only reason for translation could be only education purposes.
I saw few articles in Russian educational magazines suggested Xara X
as best choise for teaching vector graphics. The only barrier is English menu
In present school program vector graphics is in 7 class (from 12).
Though, foreign language from now is studying from 2 class.
