Adding Sub Menus Removes Highlights on Main Menus

I have noticed that if a single row of menus with no sub-menus included in the code will show the altered state of the main menu when ever the page is visited.

But, when adding any sub-menus to the main menus the altered state is now no longer displayed when visiting the page with that link. (This occurs on horizontal and vertical menus)

For example of a menu that works the way I would like visit: http://bestbuy.com

In this example, when you are on any of the sub menus the main menu is in an altered state.

Is there a way for Xara Menumaker to do this the same way?

hi im afraid the navbar only support the selected state for navbars created without sub menus.
