I thought that as well! I had not read too much about XaraX prior to the beta release as I just knew I would want it when it came out.

Of course I had heard it would be export to .SWF and upon installation I merrily went to the animation palette and found you couldn't animate a vector to export to a .SWF. So I look to export layers (similar as Freehand9). Still no luck.

I agree I was a bit shocked, but I guess they can leave that out for now as they know Flash etc would take care of that side of things.
