If you change the stroke to a tapered one, it might just look like a pretty good feather.
This was rectangular stroke that I was editing the width profile. I don't quite understand how to do that. Rich
Doesn't it have a line gallery of some sort? which app where you us ing to do the feather?
John,
This is in Acrylic using an image stroke. If I was using a pen, I could get a variation. This is creating a constant width, and then editing the width with shape nodes. That is a separate tool. The tool goes in the same direction regardless of path direction. I one case, the adjustment is backwards. I am not sure how to get a smooth shape. I have been thinking it has to do with the path itself because there didn't seem a way to change the shaping nodes.

Hi Rich,
the grout looks good. the tiles are too shiny or something...
John,
Not to worry, these are just expirments. They don't last more than a day.

cool Bugwing Frame Rich...
Really like the picture. Who's the babe?
(Acrylic) I was trying to fill an image into a set for objects, but I couldn't get the fill position correct. So, I took the dot matrix, and placed it over a rectangle, and applied erase mode. This gave a reverse matrix. I grouped this and sent it to a pixel layer to be rasterized. Then back to a vector layer to be used as a Ping Mask. I used the mask over the image and set the blending mode to erase.
John,
That was Laura's aunt. I heard she moved to Kansas in a Tornado. Rich
