The whole picture (except; the misty stuff and the stars were created from the quick shapes in the bottom of the picture. I used "break shapes" on the quick shapes and; "skewed" them and used "add shapes".

A lot of SHAPES in the description and in the picture itself...

The Faerie pose is from a "Dover" line drawing.

You have done it again. You need to assemble a portfolio of your images like this, and get your self an illustration rep. I'm not kidding. Your illustrations are very fresh and clever.

I think you could get work with the right art rep.

The only thing I would suggest is to assign yourself some illustration problems to solve in your style. Look at some editorial illustrations and advertising illustrations and see what they are illustrating and then come up with your way of solving the problem.

    Does that make any sense?

Gary, you are too kind... - keep it coming

Seriously, it would be very neat if someone would find a use for my little illustrations. I feel like I'm still trying to find my way, though...

Your comment about "illustration problem" - I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. I interpret it as: to look at other illustrations and see what they are trying to tell/sell and to practice executing my own ideas for it?

    What is an "illustration rep"?

Ross - can't wait to see some grass... too much snow in this country...
