    Hi Panfer,

I'm not sure exactly what Xara Ltd actually intended the Wizard Properties to be used for. There isn't a help file available. Wolfgang Kuting posted a request about creating Webstyle .wix files that lead me to experiment, I'll see if I can track down that tread again for you.

To briefly summarize, you can use the Wizard Properties to select the objects (in a programming sense) that will be exposed to other programs to change (i.e. color of an object, etc.)

Hope this partly answers your question.

BTW I emailed Xara support over a month ago asking if there was any information available about the Wizard Properties, but no response yet.

The thread I mentioned above is

Panfer, hopefully we will learn more about this Wizard. I suspect it has more uses than my experiment could find.

As far as I know, this is a feature introduced in Xara 2.0 that according to David Mathewman was never implemented. It would appear that the lack of implementation continues into Xara X.

Perhaps if Mark or one of the other Xara persons reads this thread they can give us a clue.

This affects the export of WIX files, which are template files for Xara Webstyle (web graphics for the artistically challenged). AFAIK, this dialog allows you to set what properties of the template Webstyle may alter and is not available in Xara X.

Thanks Gary and Sean. Making templates for Webstyle may be handy someday.
