The US government recently asked for tenders to clean up the Mount Rushmore monument. Unfortunately I submitted my tender upside down. You'll need to copy it into Xara and rotate it 180 degrees.
    I don't know why, I didn't get the tender.

Seems like Egg isn't the only one. Check out the photo of the work in progress on CNN:

    Hi
I had the radio on last night and there was a small bit re the current makeover. I had been reading a book on visual illusions recently and I thought why not combine the two.
Eyes, mouth moustache and nose to varying degrees.
Feeling okay? Me? I'm on the right side of a bottle of Whisky, course I'm okay Richard. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif Probably why I'm taking the quick way down the mountain.

Maybe they should put giant hats on the heads to protect the faces from damaging UV rays. I think a pith helmet would look swell on Teddy. The others could wear ball caps.

I also noted the faces look very pale -- almost like the undead. Perhaps a makeup company will donate some facepaint so these guys can be given a makeover to look more lifelike. (I mean 'lifelike' in the sense that they could have realistic skintones. I realize they'll always look enormous so they can never really look totally lifelike).

    Regards, Ross

Each head is only about 40 Feet tall. Not large compared to the armpit, which is abit bigger.
