Did you save it as either a GIF or a JPG? I think some browsers support PNG also.
Is it "pointed to" correctly in the HTML? I just put everything in the one folder, that way you don't need to specify a path in the HTML such as IMG SRC="images/imagename.GIF" ... etc
Does that help any?
