    Yea, you put in a rotation joint at the shoulder, cool indeed... The hand also looks pretty cool, I am just wondering what you are intending on creat'n to make all those finger joints move... wires?

    Looking really good so far Dan

    Looking good Dan.

    My only suggestion is to make the area at the wrist smaller than the area that connects to the upper "arm" area. Also in this area it's very stabilized so the wrist would not have freedom of movement from what I can make out so far.

    The two bars that seem solidly connected I would disconnect them from that big lug nut looking thing bend them inwards to give a more streamlined appearance and resize the lug nut smaller and think of a way to connect them all while keeping the wrist able to move up, down and sideways.

    This is an important area of the human body to have a fluidity so I imagine this sort of detail would be applied to something as complex as an android. Now it's a different story with a robot design, much simplier in design usually!

    Just some suggestions. Heck I can't even create a deformed box in Blender.. YET!!

    Looks good Dan!! I really like the new shoulder, it allows for a lot of movement. I understand what Richard said about the wrist, but think what you have is very good. The hand can rotate and the wrist can move backward and forward, giving a wider range of movement than the human hand and wrist.

    This is looking great, Dan! I too prefer the mechanical hand you've modeled and agree with the above from Soquili and Richard.
    Nice work!

    Changed the wrist - added a "ball joint" for mobility;
    Resized the bar between the elbow and shoulder and also the 2 bars from wrist to elbow;
    Added color (just for fun right now cause I forgot to save... )
    Changed the fingers to facilitate rigging later on.
    That's all for tonight.

    Looking cool

    For joints which go both ways Dan you could possibly try universal joints,like on a car drive shaft.

    How does the song goes ? The wrist bone connected to the... arm bone, the arm bone connected to the.. shoulder bone...

    Well got part on the spine done this morning - kind of ball joints with wings for stoppers...
    Connected the shoulder to the spine.
    I think I'll resize the hand... looks ridiculously small ...

    Coffee break
