That is a very powerful image. But Yogo? Are you making fun of my typo in another thread?

Hi Gary, I did not mean to pick on you, it's just that after what Alan wrote in the copper sprinkler thread I could not resist.
When I read his post this image came to mind. You can see that really it was Alan's idea. Thanks Alan. He wanted to know what the Yogo were so I thought I would help out.

The Yogo were a proud , intelligent, civilized, nation of people. They were named Yogo after their leader. They inhabitted the lands that are today known as New Mexico.

Actually Yogo must be an Arizona branch of the Anasazi who occupied such places as Chaco Canyon (see attached photo--taken yesterday as a matter of fact). The Anasazi who occupied the Chaco Canyon region from about 800AD-1200AD and were incredible stone masons.

You read my mind. And that is a great photo.
I have never been to Chaco. I only have seen it on TV. The people that built Chaco were called the Anasazi by the Navajo. Or the Ancient ones for a english translation. They did build cliff dwellings all round the four corners area. I believe that the Yogo were part of this group. In Arizona we have Montezuma's Castle , but the this may have actually been Yogo's Castle. No one really knows what happend to these people. ? Acutally many of them moved south to join the Hopi and Zuni people.

Thanks Risto. I did add the shield as a form of censorship. Then I did not have to finish drawing Yogos legs.
Here is Montezumas Castle in Az. Not as good as Gary's photo.
