Just playing around with C4D lighting, using the objects from my previous post. Let me know if it's too dark. My LCD display has a higher gamma than standard CRTs.

Very Cool Bill, a bit dark.

Postwork: (hope you don't mind I played with your picture) I used Xara to easily add some more light and Photo Shop to add environment.

    Hey Mike,

Yours looks better. I noticed the jpg artifacts really got to the red light in mine.

Soquili, those lit primitives changes the whole feel of the image, I like it! Mike's enhancements were nice too.

Bill, the lights really create a moody feel.

Mike I like your changes also.

    Thanks Teknal and Randy.

I added another light and adjusted it's fall off. Activated Radiosity and volume Caustics for the render. I encreased the jpg quality, makes a larger file size but the artifacts aren't as bad.

Bill, looks like you are getting the hang of lighting effects. I think I like the first one, I just like the dark feel to it.

Thanks Randy. I like the first one best, too. I think it's because I listened to the "Shadow" radio program too much as a kid. Or maybe from reading too many Batman comic books. Everything always happened at night.

Thanks Gidget. I thought about that after doing the image the first time, but couldn't find the post were you told me which colour was for which
