... or does it bother anyone else when a post goes un-answered. The reason I was drawn into TalkGraphics was the fact that ... unlike OTHER forums ... a post of ANY kind seemed to illicit a response from someone, and usually in short order. Now there seem to be more and more forums ... and more and more un-answered posts. Maybe I'm just having a bad day and needed a perch from which to crow http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

    Hi Ed,

I moderate over at Pixelparity and it's the same over there. Just a slow time for just about every forum I belong too so don't take it personally! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Yea Ed, it does seem as if there are more folks just lurking around rather than contributing to the forums. Probably due to the lack of interesting stimulus or some other mysterious phenomenon.

    Perhaps writers cramp?

I've often said that messageboards have moods, and they really do. You can have really busy stages, and really quiet stages. With something like TalkGraphics, new product releases etc. no doubt will cause spurts of interest in their relevant spots.

I always say the best solution, if you think it's getting quiet, is to think of some challenging or thought-provoking topics and go posting.

    As to...

There's actually three less forums than there was a month ago at TalkGraphics.

Also there will hopefully be some things coming up that should hopefully breathe some fresh air into TalkGraphics, so stay tuned for those.

Thanks for the response Richard, Mike, and Antony. I guess this is a busy time for most of us ... and sometimes you just don't want to be the first to "pipe in" and say something stupid on a topic that may not interest you in the first place ... but, then again ... I HATE seeing anyone discouraged by making a post that goes un-answered.

I'm going to make a NEW resolution for this year to answer as many of the un-answered posts as possible. I may not be the answer they were looking for ... but at least they will know they're not alone.

    Hi Ed,

I respond, when I can. Not always, but when I get a spare moment or two I like to come in here and bleed a little bit. Sometimes I help, most of the time I just make a fool of myself.

But a message board needs a village idiot just to liven things up I guess.

    Hi John,

If all of us "fools" had your talent ... there would be no need for advise. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

    Hi Ed,

Well thank you. But I do think you are confusing me with someone with a wittle bit of talent...
