But hopefully I should have an answer on this soon.

This reply to my posts was made as you can see in December of last year...I heard NOTHING from Xara after this post...It was not until a member of this forum emailed me and informed me in LATE FEBRUARY 2004, that I knew there was a patch to be downloaded from Xara to rectify this problem. So from December 2003 until March 2004, the new webstyle4 that I paid for was not even used...What excellent customer service http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/mad.gif Asked the other day if I would recommend a good graphics software...told them to use anything but never, ever use Xara...

    Hi there,

I'm new to the Forum (but not to WebStyle) and like to mention something about the service and the ability to create a site using Webstyle.

I purchased Webstyle V3 back in 2002 and I have had no bother with either the program or customer support (I live in the UK). I've created a few sites using Webstyle and all worked perfectly!

I purchased V4 a couple of day's ago after many exchange of emails with an extremely nice lady called Barbara.

Basically, I couldn't pay by credit card so ended up paying by cheque, there was an offer on at the time which ended the 4th June, i sent the cheque around the 2nd.

When they received it, I had forgot to sign it (Doh!) so the cheque was returned, by this time the offer had ran out but a quick email to Barbara ensured that the offer would still be available to me after the final date and within a week, V4 was sent by post.

I've had the program a couple of days and have had no problems (V4.1) and am already in the process of updating an old Webstyle site: The UneXplained to a brand new one: WIP - The UneXplained.

So, just on my use alone, I would recommend Webstyle to people.

    (No, I don't work for Xara http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif)

Create a new thread of your own, to start the ball rolling more effectively. You just replied to a thread that was over a month old.

    @ taytay 39:

Look at your source code on the site. The first picture that is not working is trying to access it from:

    <img src="file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Owner/My%20Documents/My%20Web%20Pages/index_files/SciFi_2.gif" width="374" height="65"></td>

As you can see it is trying to load the picture from your computer rather than the hosting server.

To load the picture correctly the code should read as follows:

    <img src="index_files/SciFi_2.gif" width="374" height="65"></td>

Todd, TayTay39 is using the integrated Dreamweaver Functionality with WS4, so she needs a solution that doesn't force her to edit her code for every image, everywhere, all the time. I'm not a dreamweaver user, so I won't guess at how to do that. I've done it for Frontpage. We don't really know how she got into this situation. If TayTay has started a new thread then people can ask her more questions and give her a best-possible resolution.

if you read the actual post and not this one i gave a better solution. (making sure every file is uploaded in it's current folder) I showed the code, not to expect taytay to change it but understand what was happening.
