XPE don't work!

Xara1 from CD,

I think the XPE software is great!
But I can't work with that program!

- When I open Photo_B_01.jpg(100% 526x451 pixels) in xara1 that works very well.
When I open XPE I see only a blank full screen,
The toolbar gives - Photo_B_01.jpg(100% 0 x 0 pixels) and nothing else.

The OS is Window Me with 128M on a Pentium 200 Mhz.

Bug or something else?

Welcome to Talkgraphics. Would you mind posting the picture here so somebody else could verify if this is a bug. the window that pops up to respond here has a little paperclip on the right side of teh toolbar directly over the box you are supposed to type in. Click on the paperclip and browse to the subject picture. AS long as the picture is under 300k It should upload here just fine.

okay... If you are using IE than check your settings JS is used pretty heavily here, and if you have it locked down, you will not be able to do much.

Hello Jozef,

It is a shame you feel discouraged with X1 and XPE. I see where you are coming from tho. Are you able to view any bitmaps at all with XPE or do they all give you the blank screen? If you can see nothing at all have you tried removing and reinstalling X1?

If it is only one particular file, then I would like to play with the file myself to see if it will work on this machine or if there is something in the file.
