    Here is an update on my carrot guy character.

    I think this is all I am going to do on this. I screwed up the mesh, and will have to basically start over to get where I want to be.

    I did learn a little bit about SDS modeling. I composited him in a simple Vue 2 scene. I used photoshop to combine the two images and add a shadow behind carrot guy.

    Character modeling is very difficult, and my inexperience in drawing shows most in modeling characters.

    Even if this did not turn out like I wanted it was a fun project.

    I like his facial expression [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]


    If you make another carrot man try using splines and loft nurbs Randy I think it may make the shape a bit easier to design and tweak.

    Actually that is how I got the basic shape. Then I converted the lathe nurb object to an editable object and placed it into a hypernurbs object. Should have said that in my previous post.

    That allowed my to make the arms nose and mouth much easier.
