About 3 weeks ago I upgraded to Xara3D4. I understood that I was also to get a copy of Webster 2. It wasn't in the download bundle. I downloaded the trial version of Webster2 but have been unable to get a free unlock code. I'm always sent to the buy for $49.95 page. I've written Xara twice on this subject but have yet to receive an answer.

    Thanks, Don Phillips

Xara's web site gives the following information
quote:
The free trial version can be downloaded from the Xara site. Xara3D 5 can also be purchased with immediate download from Xara's secure site at a cost of just $39, or from selected resellers. A CD is sent to everyone who purchases with a backup copy of Xara3D, plus over 600 example files, over 800 textures, 50 TrueType fonts and a tutorial movie. As an additional bonus, Xara includes a free copy of its 2D illustration software, Xara Webster, which can export directly to Xara3D. Win 95/98/2000/XP/Me and NT4.

I d/l'd xara3D5 the day it came out but I haven't recieved the CD Rom yet. I expect there a bit on the drag at the moment.

If you purchased Xara3D4 I'd contact them re an upgrade.

    Hi Egg,

I gleaned the delay with the CD was partly due to seeing how X3D5 behaved out in the wild before committing it to CD. Not long now though unless any big bugs come to light
