Hi All
Can anyone recomend a "good" referene for PS6? I am a beginner/intermediate PS user and am looking a book with understandable details. Any thoughts on a book called "Photoshop Bible"? Or good web tutorials that don't leave out the vitals?
Thanks!

Hiya Maggie...

I'd suggest that if you're in the market for a good PS book you try the ones written by our famed 3D moderator "Gary David Bouton". His books are very concise, and easy to follow.

And if you like the snazzy eye-candy graphics effects, there's always the PS6 WOW book:

Hope that helps.

Photoshop/Imageready Hands on Training by Lynda Weinman. Published by Peachpit Press. Peachpit listing for this book.

This book is primarily focused on web design, but you can learn the basics of using many of the tools and functions of PS. The book is laid out as tutorials.

Photoshop is incredibly deep so you should eventually purchase several books that apply to the different ways of using it. I also recommend Professional Photoshop 6, The Classic Guide to Color Correction if you intend to work with photos.

I would go for the Photoshop 6 Bible, that is if you need a good reference book
