    I'm using Frontpage 2003 and Webstyle 4.

I would like to insert a navbar that I made into one template that I created in frontpage and then have the navbar update when I change it in webstyle.

When I create hyperlinks inside of webstyle to the pages of my site, it created .htm files for those pages, why is that?

I'm really getting frustrated with this program and wondering why I paid for it.

Regarding Nav bars and the autogenerated code...
I would recommend you create a folder structure like the one you will be publishing too. For example:

    www <root>
    index.htm
    otherpages.html
    themes <folder>
    includes <folder>

Now, in when you save your navbar project, if it will reside in the themes folder on your site I would create a project called 'themes' and save your work to that folder.

Webstyle hard codes much of the path name info directly in the javascript it autogenerates.

    Give that a try.
