Ok,got another Q for anyone who may know. I see that in Director you can export as an html file. Has anyone here ever built an entire site with Director? The norm seems to be either java, flash or html (and variants),but I've never seen a site done in Director and am wondering how successful it would be as far as load times, compatability, etc?
    Thanks!

As quoted from Tech Support on Macromedia's site:

Does Director create HTML Web pages?
Director is not an HTML editor; therefore, it does not create HTML Web pages. When saving your Director movie as a Shockwave movie, Director does provide an option to create a very simple HTML document with your Shockwave movie embedded. This can be useful for testing your Shockwave movies in browsers before embedding them in your own HTML documents you created outside of Director.

So, to answer your question, it wouldn't be particularly successful and you'd be far better off using MM's Dreamweaver to create your site. And of course, Flash is also an option.
