"Mountain" plug-in?

I'm looking for the easy way out here... is there a Photoshop plugin that creates terrains, specifically mountains?

If not... whats a good way to make my own (sigh).

If you want artsy, just scan in some mountain photos or download some, and apply some PS filters, like Artistic/Paint Daubs or Pallette Knife.

If you want a clean illustration-type effect, you will have to do it yourself.

Another method that has occurred to me, though I've never tried it, is to draw or paint mountains on a small canvas or good paper, then scan it in, and select or extract the mountains into a new image. This might be much quicker than trying to learn how to do it digitally, if you have the artistic skills and materials. You may need to blur the image to remove surface texture.
