    The main problem was that to apply a different fill you have to remove all the bevels. Two hours later this was the best I could do. I could'nt find a genuine fill so I had to make one myself. I lost a lot of the finer bevel effects ~ it would have taken me hours to redo each bevel independently!
    Her Maj. will have to await another day, but I know I got a vector of her somewhere.
    No, I'm definetly not doing a 20p gel make-over.

    Egg - I love the original one. Big Frank is correct in his praise - it is f'n brilliant. It has the texture of the early plastic known as bakelite. I find it looks a bit like a "slug" if you are familiar with the term. In my XaraXone gallery I have a coin design I worked on. Like you, I found it difficult to translate the design into a successful metallic object. I think both of ours are representational without the touch of photorealism that they crave.

    Rubem - The combination of rough stone and smooth gel liquid is beautiful. It would make a great webpage interface!
