    Sorry I missed replying to your post earlier.

    You certainly did a better job of writing it out than I did. I missed saying "select the text" first ... then open the bitmap gallery and fill etc. Oh well...

    I accidentily discovered that holding the minus on the 10-key pad also allows you to resize, reshape, skew or even rotate the text while still matching the bitmap behind it.

    You can even do all of the resizing etc. after a bevel has been applied, holding the 10-key minus.
