Has anyone ever had guidelines freeze in XaraX? Suddenly I can't manipulate them once I've dragged them onto the drawing. I've checked the Properties in the Layers dialogue, hunted through everything and cannot find a fix. The only way to change a guideline is to delete the layer and drag a new one onto the screen. Any ideas?

    Thanks and best regards,

    Kane

Yes, both boxes in the left column, and in the layer properties dialogue as well.

    Thanks,

This question comes up fairly often.

This will happen if the Magnetic Snap Radii are set to zero.

You can find the setting in Utilities -> Options -> Mouse

Glad I could help Kane. I don't remember who originally came up with the solution to this problem...but it is amazing how much information is in these forums!

John, you can get the next one. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

As this seems a simple one to fix, and you guys already have an answer, we'll add it to the support FAQs.

    Thanks.
I'd start a revolution, if I could get up in the morning.
