Thanks Athena, I usually take the images down after they been up for awhile. I just never got into the habit of letting them there...Sorry...

Hello Dawn, this guy and Painter are responsible - I painted a window on the wall at work in the basement - the gesture was not accepted - this painting devil guy sure gets into trouble with the conventional world. I'm so glad you didn't get upset and could have a laugh!! I appreciate the effort in your portrait. Yes and how did you do the hair??

Oh my, I didn't know my painting could bring out soooooo many devils...hahaha My picture should be good enough to scare you all away, BOO!!!!!lol
Sunny, it's one thing to have fun like you did and another to outright steal an image for one's own use. Now how can I be upset when you found my boy fishie a big mate...lol
The hair is done with many layering steps. Starting dark and adding many different shades with the lightest for the highlights. Believe me I was very kind to myself. Didn't have the heart to paint all the grey that is really in there...lol

Hello and thanks for the encouragement. Sometimes i just read something or see something and i just squiggle away. Is it spontaneous or is it impulsive?? Please let me know, i am always wondering!

ok I leave my monitor on all the time. (my computer too for that matter)

and when I first saw your portrait I thought the highlight on the forehead was too bright. but now more than 30 min later, I look at this and the highlight seems just right.

I'm guessing this is a lesson in letting the image settle into the monitor?

    800X600x32 *shrug*

hehe yes I use 800x600 to read important things like the forum. Maybe when I get a 21 or 22 inch monitor I'll switch to 1024x768 (which does happen to be my preferred resolution for working in painter).

    ok Ciao!
