Photoshop 6 and Guides

I've inserted some guides but when I try to make a selection (snap to guide enabled) the selection doesn' exactly match with the guides.
1 pixel wrong on the left or on the right or top or bottom, with no sense

Any help out there?

Hey man, I've had that problem before but what I found out worked for me was to try making a selection on a different layer. Say you made your guides on Layer 1. Make a new layer and make your selection on Layer 2 then go back to Layer 1 and fill it in or what not. hope that helps. Please check out my site to see some cutting-edge design and get FREE stuff. When making a selection the selection will also snap to a graphic on a layer as well, but only if you have that layer selected with the graphic in the layers window. Not just the guides you place on the image. This could be the issue. Just a thought. Good luck. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]
