Jon, there are tons of sites out there with all kinds of background pattersn...but here is one that comes to mind

I have made a number of textures for Xara. These can also be used as fill patterns in PSP. They can also be converted to grey scale and then saved as a .bmp in the texture folder, they will then become available as textures. You can download these fills at http://www.geocities.com/imagine656
