I've been using Xara Westyle 4 for several projects. It now crashes when starting.

    Any ideas?

Right now, there is no way to submit a help request to support.

hjnorris , Xara support is available as normal.

Just go to the xara support section at xara.com/support and check out the Webstyle FAQs. There's a link to contact support on each answer.

That's where I was looking for the support link.

I see the link is there now.

Rebooting several times did not help.

I cleaned up my temp directory, ran Norton Win Doctor, Scan disc and rebooted and it's been working fine since.

If you have any Norton products try disabling them and try again or uninstall them and them try WS4.

I found Norton AntiVirus and firewall a big problem.'

    Good Luck

Hmmm... I just encountered the same problem and it was easily resolved when I disabled my Norton AntiVirus Auto Protect.

This is rather odd as I never had a problem with it in the past with Norton abled but I hope this will help others with a similar problem http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

useful info: im using Windows XP and am on an ADSL connection ... my firewall is disabled too during this attempt.
