    Apophysis is freeware. www.apopyhsis.org It works in conjuction with Ultra Fractal (shareware). Apophysis has a function to make gradients from images. I have been assembling images in Xara X from various images, and converting them to gradients. Flipping the image changes the gradient result. Rich
