    I've now seen how Mark does incredible textures with depth using painting techniques, and how Ivan is doing on the XARA forum with modeling using XARA.

    Here's my contribution. Someone asked me a while back how I did water (a swimming pool actually) with such realism. Attached is something that belongs to the math family called "caustics". I did this in XARA, and it seamlessly tiles. Use this as a opacity map, or just a texture map (try blurring it after applying it, and paint in a few anomolies).


    Yup. You can leverage the strengths of one program to help finish stuff in another program.
