Hello, I am trying to set up some button sounds. I'm usinf a swf file, and they're working fine- except when you rollover, the sound file opens a new window rather than just playing, and I can't seem to figure out why. Heres a sample address:

the sound is linked to the green button.

Any ideas?

You are loading a flash file. I would use swish to create a button to play the sound as a wav file.

I have created a flash file to demonstrate this. If you can come up with the wav file - this is very easy to do using Swish.

Send me the sound file for the effect you want and I will send you the swf and html code to support it.

I'm wondering how to add .wav sound effects to my Xara Webstyle 3.1 buttons (menus). I apologize if this thread isn't related to Xara WebStyle.

It seems Xara didn't include sounds with their product.

Anyone know how I can add sounds to my existing buttons? (.wav is preferred, since I have them already on my hard drive).

I don't know exactly what you want - but I found this. You will have to add some code to your page and maybe adjust the javascript file created with menu maker to play the file using a plugin.

There may be something else you can do simply using the OnMouseover event and an associated JavaScript program.
