I made an MP3 Flash Player that streams .swf files. It works just fine until I place it on my webpage then I can browse through the selections in the player but it will not play any tracks associated with it. The flash player was basically just inserted in a frame using Dreamweaver. The player and the sound files are in the same folder.

The player alone works in N6.1 and IE5 if you go to the direct URL http://www.killwhat.com/jukebox/player.swf

But once inserted in the actual page http://www.killwhat.com/intro.html it will not load the songs for some reason.

Can't seem to understand why it's giving me this problem... If anyone has an idea, please drop a line...

    Thanks, Kelly

I have not been here for a while because I took an extended vacation. Anyway, I had the same problemwhile recently building a web site for a musician local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Since you mentioned that the files were all in the same folder, it raised a "red flag" that you did the same as I did. Are your "Load Movie" actions domain specific? You can't load a movie (sound file) into another Flash movie without specifying the domain (i.e.: www.music.com/music/sound.swf). You can't only list the file name even if it's in the same folder as your main movie.

I really hope this helps you,

    Scott

View the file I built at: Scott Mann CD and click on the link that says "Click Here to listen to samples from this CD"

    Thanks,
