Here is a preliminary potential poster design for our next school show. Auditions were today so dunno what or if I got anything! Anyway, let me know what you think. The photo is not mine, but it is there until I can find a noose to photograph. All the copy is not on this, as I don't know what's needed yet, but the title and design basically are. Crits definitely appreciated, thanks a lot!

    Looks good to me Steve!

The only suggestions that I could make are, consider making the ‘the’ a little bigger and perhaps the ‘C’ in Crucible a bit ‘heaver’ – similar in weight to the other characters. Red on black is always a difficult one.

    You’ve got my vote!

I'm not sure if the simplicity idea works or not. Just so many times with poster designs all that writing tends to crowd the image so you don't want a croweded design to coincide with that! Dunno, but thanks for the comment

I think you are going to have problems when you send it to the printers as the rope highlights will be lost. It will not have the same resolution as it does have on the screen or if they do it print it the way you want it, it will be expensive. Also the colour contrast in the GlenOak High School part does not come across as the font is very narrow.
    Design is thinking made visual.
