    in DrawPlus by Serif.

There are some sticky areas in this program but totally workable with some patience. I love the mesh fills and the total control over the nodes. There are a few menu areas that need to be better organized and an addition or two (like the Align tool) added to the right click menu but other than that I love the program.

This image originally came about from a Challenge in the Xara forums and I was VERY happy with the outcome but lost the file in a computer crash in which I had to reload the system http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif So I swore I would eventually redo it in XaraX but instead I got excited about DrawPlus. Since my first purchase (DrawPlus 6) a new release (DrawPlus 7) came about with many new features like the 3D effects, feathering tool and a host of other improvements and bug fixes and Serif is CONSTANTLY staying in touch with the user base (VIA the Serif forums) and updating the products in relation to the user base imput). So I decided to try my hand at doing this in DP7 instead of the antiquated XaraX (which I still love but it needs some updating at this point, so I have my fingers and toe nails crossed http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif ).

I think it turned out quite well.
