    this sketch could be a commission(a poster or just a pin up on a jazz club wall) something missing i guess. looking for assistance. grateful in advance.

    Hey Volve!
    Firstly, thanks for replying. 'Cool' doesn't add or explain much. 'Strange' does. If you could explain what makes it strange, I'd really appreciate it a lot. I also guess it looks strange, but I want to know why.

    When I looked at this yesterday I only saw smudged colors. Maybe it was because I was tired. Today I can make out a small portion of his profile, glasses and left hand on the piano. Are the words his choice because they seem strange to me also. I gather that this will be his last album but it comes across in a disjointed fashion.

    Dafipp, thank you for replying. Perhaps you have put it right: the image looks kind of disintegrated and needs more harmony. I must try to find another approach.

    your work is so creative, it's hard for a novice like me to make suggestions...but i'd keep the text in the upper portion of the graphic. it looks a little crowded with the hands so close to the title.

    I can't tell you why....
    There is a type of graphics
    that I cannot tell too much about
    beside do I like it or not
    some kind feeling [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]
