Cloaker?

Someone was talking about cloak software, all I know is Cloaker uses a CGI bin but I don't know what it is. Anyone here know?

I referred to 'cloaking' in relation to Dreamweaver MX where the term is used really just to mean "hide this file, folder or file type from the ftp function when publishing this web site".

The other cloaking I have heard of is when you hide the fact that your website url is really www.someflybynightmerchant/~mysite/index.htm and not www.megacorp.com. But I don't know how it is done except that it is sometimes an ISP service.

Hmm.. I think the in the context of the convresation he was refering to some sort of credit card system, know of anything the name cloaker that is involved in online sales? Thanks for you repsone!
