    I've given up trying to select brushes and stroke profiles using the options/previews of the freehand tool. I now find it much less frustrating and more intuitive to use the line gallery. If you don't use it much - try it, it is much easier to use IMHO.

    Thanks for the tip. I was going to put on my wish list the ability to have galleries for brushes especially since we now have a hundred or more to choose from and it takes a long time to get to the one you want.......And there is was all the time!!
