I'm not sure in what way I could have possible helped :-) but I am glad you found something of interest.

I am always astounded (gobsmacked to quote Brian--great term Brian) at people who have the infinite patience to tackle such a complex and difficult image and then make it look so outstanding.

You obviously have had a previous life in which you did this work in airbrush, and I correct? And if so, how would you rate the process using Xara in comparison?

Much thanx for the additional details. They are beautiful compositions in their own right.

Looking at them it struck me how your work could translate to flash. I can imagine a car that could be 'disassembled'. Remove the hood and see what is there etc. etc. It could have a mouseover explanations of all the parts etc. Such a project would make an awesome website - I think you should pitch the idea to Ford. THe details are fabulous. If I had to limit myself the welds and small wire terminals are what blew me away. I'll be looking at these for awhile to capture all the details.

Absolutely awesome - I hadn't seen this one before... it's breathtaking!

The only time I've seen work of this detail is in ancient workshop manuals where they must have had some of the finest airbrush artists creating their images.

I just love cutaway images - we don't see enough these days!
