    Navy RESPECT http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
I've been looking for X3D tutorial and bumped on this thread....

Though I don't understand your ranks there... what is a RMCM or ITCS....? I know US Enlisted Ranks
(Happened to work with your EOD units - Explosive Ordial Disposal or something like that).
In some areas you say Staff seargant, and in some first seargant... what's the difference?

We had the same ranks both for navy and other units.

Maybe start Our own forum ? http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

    Hi Availor,

The RMCM and ITCS are not military rank, they are career identification. We will have to wait for Sparks to return from leave to find out the specifics.

Staff Sargeant is a military rank in the US Army, US Marines, and US Air Force. In the Air Force it is the enlisted rank E5, in the Army and Marines is E6.

First Sargeant isn't actually a rank, but is a job designation. In the Air Force a First Sargeant is the NCO in charge of the administrative offices for a unit.

A summary of the US military ranks can be seen at Military Ranks

    Hey Availor,

Think of a military unit as a family. The Father is the Commander, the mother is the first sargent. Mom, can't beat you, but dad will beat you as hard as mom says to... Mom watches out to see if you are naughty or nice. Dad swings the stick. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

he mother is the first sargent
So am I a mother?! I didnt even know.... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
I think I was more than a mother... I was a babysitter.... In here one can have many specifications. My specialty was the Units medic.
So everyone came crying to me that they don't feel well, and wanted me to release them from their shift/kitchen duty.... The Master Chief came crying to me saying "We have no men, don't release too many".... (No one can argue with a medic's descision regarding treating a soldier, not even the commander). And since I was the only one.... I had ALL the POWER http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/mad.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif - budget shortcut he-heh

    What is USAF?

Hi Ron, great tetradracm coin you have there. Are ancient coins an interest of yours?

Wow, Mike. Even your 'old' work is better than my new work http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
