    Question Re: Background

handrawn, would you push me in the right direction for a background question? I want to make a back groung the right size for so that is shows in the Window as the Background (when I did the most recent try, it was WAY HUGH and Tiled to boot) or is there a way to ReSize the Background (smaller) to fit in window of the 3d that I am working on? Thanks - Tom

Tom, if you export the background image at 96 ppi and note the demensions you can then set the X3D page to match this size. It won't tile and should display correctly in the browser.

Thanks Salaam (and Egg Bramhill) - After much 'trying' I found that using the Alt-Key only worked (for me) when the 3d file was FIRST opened -if I did anything else to the file, the Alt-key did NOT work <sigh>

Any Ideas on why that would be true? Should the Alt-key move 'anytime?'

Again, Thanks Guys -Sure Appreciate the Help! Best to Ya - Tom

if you move the cursor away from your object it will change from the extrusion tool and change into a cross, this is when you can hold alt and drag it about.
