Started this in August but wasn't sure about posting things falling and crashing.
This was an interesting study, however, and fun to do. I had to reduce the size and colors etc. so it will play properly in IE.

It seems to be playing badly again. One loop should take about 9 sec. and its now taking almost twice that time. I dont know why it changes.
The Xara file is below and should play properly.
I like it a lot Bob.
Only thing I would do is not pan back to the original view but to stick to the head on view of the bulb.
If you look at professional animations, one of the things they all seem to do so well is the rotation and zoom as you have done. Good start.

I guess I got lazy and rather than draw new frames I used the first 15 frames (more or less) in reverse order to complete it.
