The bezier node handle for the bottom node is somewhere on top of node.
Use the shape editor tool, select the bottom node and zoom in. You will see the bezier handle is pointing to about the 2 o'clock position, you can drag this bezier handle around (approximately maintaining the distance between the handle and the centre of the node) and the arrow head will change direction.
