I bet Gary knows the answer to this because Mary E. Carter wrote the book (ISBN 0-201-88393-7).
Here’s the situation: I have found that printing my Xara works on archival media is somewhat costly, and they end up mostly in the flat file cabinet. Soooooo,, I have made a Director projector of a bunch of the images as a cross-fade slide show with music.
I intend to give the disks away, so there is no *commercial intent*. Macromedia insists (by license) that their logo be displayed. Fair enough, but I would also like to show the XaraX logo, and the Flaming Pear. An acknowledgment of good software.
Can I do that and be in compliance with copyright code?? I know companies are very protective of their logos. What if they want no association with my art ?? Maybe they think it is UGLY ??
What to do ........?????......Maybe I should just ask them ?
Regards...............Tad
