OK... Created a quickshape, duplicated it, reduced duplicate by 20%, selected both, and then subtracted shapes.

Brought the .xar file into Xara3D4 and applied the bevel, extrusion, and tilt. The possibilities are endless.

P.S. I'm guessing this is the antithesis of "selective simplification."

Nice design. I bet you could make some nice animaton files with that in Xara 3D

Bruce, to keep the file size somewhat reasonable, I had to shrink the image quite a bit. I didn't play much with the animation settings but just tried this for the sake of demonstrating one possibility. Thanks for the idea.
