Ok, this is my first Xara car pic. My 1972 Datsun 240Z.

I bought this car new in 1972, and it had ~250,000 miles on it when I gave it to my youngest son in 1995.

The photo I used was taken in 1989 for the cover of a Z-car parts catalog. It was taken on a section of dirt road with a grassy field in the background, which is why the tint in the lower body panels is a bit brownish...

I'm always impressed when I see these realistic car drawings people do. That's excellent.

Very nice work Terry. I've been wanting to do an illustration of my 68 'cuda but I just don't have the patience to do it... started a couple times, but didn't get very far.

I like the way you did the texture on the seats... nice interior touches peaking through there. (I would do something about that front plate though. It's a bit glarring right now)

Bling, Bling. You should consider puttin the year on the front license plate in place of the blue. Do you plan on adding background or have you signed off on it? Very nice job.

    Joe! Where you been dude?

Thank you all for the kind words.

This (like all of my stuff to date) was just an experiment to see how it would come out. I'm not going to do anything else with it.

I haven't decided on my next project yet, but I've got a nice, silver '91 Honda ST1100 in my garage...

Hey WW. I've just been making an rather big move (England to North Carolina) and a couple more interesting career moves. Keeping too busy for my own good really.

Terry, if you get a wild hair to do some old American muscle feel free to use mine.
