    Hi,
I just designed this web page and I can see the design layout but the person I designed it for can't get the Pictures to show. I is constructed with DreamweaverMX (older version.
Could some one check it out for me.
I have checked and double checked and I can't figure it out.

    Hi Jim,
I unfortunately have the same problem. I tweaked my IE6 java permissions ... and still cannot view the top images.

    Hola JIM!!
Your problem is directly linked to the fact that your image links are incorrect.

    """"file:///D|/WWW%20sites/Freeform%20Web/FF_w_r5_c5.jpg""""

    Needs to be: http://www.blah.com/blah/image.EXT

you can also change it in Dreamweaver... Where the image source is, change it to just /filename.txt and it will find it automatically online. if it is in the directory images, you need to make it images/blah.ext so on and so on.

Go into the source, and click find all and select the part before the file name and change it to / or images/ followed by the file name.

I looked at the html again...

Change the image sources to match, this will make the top image appear Etc...

    Needs to be...
    http://members.shaw.ca/macgregorj/FF_w_r2_c2.jpg

    Was...
    file:///D|/WWW%20sites/Freeform%20Web/FF_w_r2_c2.jpg
(It is linking to your computer and not the net.)

Thanks for the responses greatly appreciate that.
My understanding was that document relative was the method used for linking when you uploaded the page and that Dreamweaver adjusted same.
    Oh well live and learn.
Thanks to Everyone who took the time much appreciated.
