Hi Lynn,

I'm not sure just what kind of "3D" effect your trying to achieve Lynn, but Photoshop's "3D Transform" filter does not produce a 'real' 3D effect.

It's meant only to 'distort' or 'warp' an image/photo onto or around an imaginary shape - like a sphere/square block/cone/etc.
And i must say, it does only a semi-decent job of that.

So in other words, you can't take a close-up facial photo, for instance, and create a 3D 'model' out of it.

Does this help you understand better what that filter does/is for?
